The public writing site: posts, moments, comments and creator capabilities. Identity always comes from ZaunEkko Account; the Blog has no account system of its own.
Finding things
The top navigation is fixed at eight entries:
| Entry | Contents |
|---|---|
| Home | The front-page editorial stream |
| Blog | The main post list; post pages belong here too |
| Categories | Recursive categories, expanding on hover on desktop |
| Tags | A flat index grouped by tag group; tags have no parent-child relation |
| Moments | The moments timeline, detail pages and interaction |
| Archive | A year-and-month tree of posts |
| 连接 | Friend links and the guestbook |
| 站点 | Site statistics, changelog, about |
The archive has two halves: newer Blog posts on top, and below them the posts migrated from the old ZaunEkko Cabin site, still under their original numbers. Old links of the form /archives/{id} still work and redirect permanently — bookmarks you saved years ago are not broken.
Subscribing
RSS lives at /feed.xml, and moments have their own feed. Feeds are always read anonymously, so they carry public content only — signing in does not add private posts to them.
Interaction
Comments and guestbook entries require signing in. Authorship comes from the account; there are no nickname or email fields to fill in, so there is nothing to forge.
Every new comment and entry goes through review before it appears. This applies to everyone equally.
Levels and capabilities
Two separate things live here. Confusing them leads to "I'm Lv.4, why can't I post a moment?"
Growth levels Lv.0 – Lv.4
| Level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Lv.0 | Reading only |
| Lv.1 – Lv.3 | Basic interaction |
| Lv.4 | By administrator invitation only |
There are two routes from Lv.0 to Lv.1; either works:
- Check in on three separate Shanghai calendar days;
- Pass the current version of the quiz.
The quiz is ten community-conduct scenarios covering harassment prevention, perspective-taking, de-escalation, privacy, proportionate reporting, verifying before resharing, and repairing harm. Scoring happens on the server; the page only shows questions and the result — it neither stores answers nor scores them itself.
Check-ins and the quiz can only take you from Lv.0 to Lv.1. Neither grants Lv.4.
Capabilities are separate from levels
Posting moments, submitting articles, uploading media, pinning your own moments, skipping review — each is an individually granted capability, not something a level hands you. Even at Lv.4, only the capabilities explicitly enabled for you are available.
Skipping review is not a publishing route on its own: it only means anything if paired with an actual capability to post moments or submit articles.
Private posts
Unauthorized posts appear nowhere: not in lists, categories, tags, search, RSS or the sitemap. Visiting the link directly returns 404, showing neither title nor excerpt.
You cannot infer that such a post exists by probing for it — that is the point.
Access is granted manually by Blog administrators and does not open up because your Account growth level rose.
After closing an account
Once an Account is anonymized, the Blog reader identity is disabled immediately. Interactions that were already public show their author as a closed account; the underlying audit evidence is retained under restricted access.
